Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply modeling and simulation strategies to support drug development programs
- Conduct simulations to predict drug pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- Design and implement in vitro-in vivo correlations (IVIVCs) to support formulation development
- Develop physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models to support drug development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and analyze preclinical and clinical studies
- Develop, calibrate, and validate biopharmaceutics models to support drug development programs
- Analyze and interpret data from preclinical and clinical studies to inform modeling and simulation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and guide decisionmaking
- Communicate results of modeling and simulation analyses to internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with current literature and industry trends related to biopharmaceutics modeling and simulation
Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in modeling and simulation of biopharmaceutical systems
- Strong background in biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, and/or pharmacodynamics
- Experience in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling, IVIVC, and PBPK modeling
- Proficient in modeling software such as GastroPlus, Simcyp, or PK-Sim
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
